Work-Study Programme

Grace & Truth Gap Year Work-Study Programme Application

Before you apply

The Work-Study Programme provides students with the opportunity to receive a partial or full tuition scholarship in exchange for working for a sponsoring employer during the academic year.

Programme Expectations

Students accepted into the Work-Study Programme are expected to:

Attend approximately 12 hours of classes each week.
Spend approximately 8 hours each week preparing for classes.
Fulfil the requirements of their work placement throughout the academic year.

Scholarship Options

Please indicate which option you are applying for:

Full Scholarship — I am available to work 20–25 hours per week (approximately 820 hours over the 36-week academic year). Half Scholarship — I am available to work 10–15 hours per week (approximately 410 hours over the 36-week academic year).

Employment Commitment

The first month of employment will serve as a trial period for both the student and the employer. If either party determines that the placement is not a suitable fit, every effort will be made to arrange an alternative placement where possible. If a suitable placement cannot be found, the student will be responsible for making alternative financial arrangements.

If the placement is successful, students are expected to honour their commitment for the remainder of the academic year.
